Mario Balotelli faces charges of sexual violence committed against a girl under the age, according to The Sun.
Police are investigating allegations made against the Brescia attacker regarding a January 2018 incident when he played for French club Nice.
Balotelli had a brief relationship with a girl who did not prove she was 18 – the local age of consent – and then revealed that she was 17 and threatened to inform the police if she did not receive € 100,000 from him football player.

Balotelli stopped that attempted extortion, before a legal counsel for the girl – who apparently comes from near Vicenza in north-eastern Italy – tried to sell her story to a paper with the 29-year-old Italy international forwarded to a police probe.
However, Elisa Romeo, who has recently been appointed a lawyer for the woman, argues that Balotelli is still facing the possibility of criminal action.
