Intel and MediaTek announced Monday that they have teamed to develop a 5G modem for a PC other than the PC. Intel will characterize the 5G placement specification, make progress and approve the plan, and MediaTek will build a cell chip for the gadget. Qualcomm, the joint partner of MediaTek and Intel, is trying to broker 5G PCs. This is the reality that uncertainties in a running association do not take a big job. Earlier this year, Intel ended the 5G modem game and removed the IP and various resources.

With the increasing use of cell phones and reduced PC usage, regular PC engineers are exploring various ways to turn a PC into a phone and provide a cellular network has made great strides in this direction.
