David Lean’s 1945 comedy hit Blythe Spirit has been re-promoted and is likely to feature in the lead role of “Nine UC May” and The Great Gatsby star Isla Fisher. The film is an adaptation of the stage hit Birthday Spirit of the New Coward. According to reports, an Australian-British actor based in London is contacted by the main character, who takes over the worldwide rights to the project.
Previously, the famous Noel-Coward drama Balti Roh was adapted in 1945 by legendary director David Lean for film screenings. The comedy revolves around Charles Condomin, a successful detective novelist and a widow who struggles to block the author while she tries to write and play her first piece on paper.
